The Tech Writer uses a fiber tip to put down a fine line.The tech writer uses fountain pen ink either cartridges or a convertor using your own bottle of ink..When the tip wears out just remove ink cartridges or convertor then unscrew the tip and screw in a new tip.The pen comes with 2 replacement tip plus the tip that is on the pen.The pen includes 5 convertors.
